What is skate sharpener?
The BladeSaver is an affordable hand-held tool used to easily maintain ice skate blades between visits for professional sharpening. Quickly make emergency repairs, remove burrs and enhance blade edges for improved performance on the ice. Save money by extending the time between professional sharpening while keeping skates in consistent top performance condition.

V-Shaped Ceramic Sharpening Rods apply clean sharp edges to skate blades.
Diamond Deburring Stone removes burrs and nicks.
How does it work?
Remove small nicks and burrs before sharpening by placing the diamond deburring stone flat against the side of the blade. With gentle pressure, sand off the bumps and burrs. If blade edges have severe damage, take the skates in for professional sharpening.
Center the V-shaped slot on the BladeSaver over the skate blade. Starting at the toe and with a slight angle toward the back of the skate, drag the BladeSaver with continuous light pressure to the back of the blade. One or two strokes should be enough. Start out with light pressure and add more pressure as you become familiar with how much pressure you need for the perfect edge.
